Dear King’s Gate Family,

When I look at the past several years, I am aware that the Father, who brought us to himself and has permanently placed His love and affection upon us, wastes nothing. During our times of waiting, warfare and struggle, He is producing in us the character and fortitude necessary to steward what He has prepared for us. Of course, the key to actually seeing this development take place is humility. Humbling ourselves under His hand, becoming like clay to our Potter and submitting to His process.

We have been in such a place as a people, one of being made again into the vessel of His original intent.  Of returning to first love devotion and setting our lives back on the firm foundation of the Chief Cornerstone. A season that called us to do the heart work, the uncomfortable reconciling of what really has the highest of our affections and pursuits. A season of full acknowledgement that His ways are better.

Seasons like these are not meant to be permanent, but they are meant to produce permanent fruit in our lives. Remember, the purpose of a season is to create the conditions necessary to produce a specific fruit. I pray that this has not been lost on us, and that we have cooperated with the Hand of the Lord instead of resisting it. Because He has been cultivating as the Husbandman all along. I would encourage you, If there are still things that need to be surrendered, forgiveness extended, or repentance made, do it. Here’s why: Its time to move!

As we have stepped into this new year, I can feel the shifting in the atmosphere. The wind that was contrary is now at our backs and the time has come to begin to step back into the fields again. Things may feel the same, but let me assure you, they are not! Let me say it again, Its time to move! What was, is not what is. Arise and shine, set your hands to build, because Christ in you, will NOT fail. Whatever challenges come, you can be assured that victory is your portion as you remain in Him.

We have so many exciting things ahead. As a family we will see dreams realized this year. Momentum and breakthrough is before us and we will not hold back, all systems go, and all hands on deck! There is abundant work to be done in the harvest fields, and we WILL be active in reaping for His Glory. You have a God ordained sphere of influence and field, and we are for you and with you in the Harvest.
