Elder Gary reminds us that in a season when spiritual attacks seem constant, we’re called to be healers and restorers rather than accusers. Like the Archangel Michael, we can choose prayer over gossip and covering over criticism.
In times when ministry leaders face unprecedented spiritual warfare, Elder Gary draws from the book of Jude to show us a different way forward. He points to the powerful example of Michael the Archangel, who refused to bring accusations against Satan but simply said, “The Lord rebuke you.” This restraint reveals a profound spiritual principle: when we engage in gossip or criticism, we actually partner with the enemy’s work rather than God’s restoration. Gary reminds us that we’ve been delivered from the authority of darkness and translated into Christ’s kingdom, which means we have both the privilege and responsibility to operate differently. Using the sobering account of Ananias and Sapphira, he shows how even believers can give the enemy access through pride and rebellion. Our calling is clear: build each other up in faith, pray in the Spirit, and keep ourselves in God’s love. When we see brothers and sisters struggling, wisdom from above calls us to pray privately and restore gently, not expose publicly. This message challenges us to examine whether we’re functioning as healers or harmers in the body of Christ.
