TKG Message | 07.31.2026
In this message, Pastor Chris drew us back to one of the most tender moments in Scripture, Jesus walking with His disciples toward the cross, knowing they were about to face things their faith had no grid for. Rather than giving them a formula, He gave them Himself. "Let not your heart be troubled" wasn't a dismissal of their fear. It was an invitation into something deeper than answers. Pastor Chris wove together John 14, John 6, and James 1 to remind us that the work God calls us to is simply this: believe. Not perform, not figure it out, but receive His word with meekness and let it take root. Elder James added a beautiful thread, reminding us that the gospel has already set us free from the exhausting cycle of trying to earn what Jesus has already finished. The through line of the whole evening was intimacy over information, abiding over striving, and trusting the One who doesn't begin what He hasn't already completed. If you've been carrying more questions than answers lately, this message is worth your time.
