TKG Message | 06.19.2026
This message opens with something simple and profound: a little girl standing on the edge of a playground platform, looking down at her father, and jumping without a second thought. Pastor Chris used that picture to name something the Lord is doing right now, taking the lids off of low expectation and restoring a childlike wonder in how we see God. From there, the message moved into honest, grounding territory, touching on Juneteenth, the weight of American history, and what it looks like for believers to love their nation without being owned by any political agenda. Pastor Chris drew from Jeremiah 29, the story of Naboth's vineyard, and the Exodus to show that God is serious about covenant, and that He is equally serious about the freedom and identity of His people. The word for fathers came as a kind of crescendo, weaving Malachi 4 and Luke 1 together into a call for men to carry the heartbeat of their heavenly Father into their homes, their communities, and this moment in history. Communion closed the night with a reminder that everything we need, as fathers, as believers, as a people, flows from Him. If any part of this stirs something in you, the full message is well worth the time to sit with.
